Don’t miss this wonderful weekend walking experience. Set here in the beautiful Kent Downs our walks range from one to twenty-three miles and include vineyards, charming villages, ancient woodlands, a fun walk for children, bats in a belfry, 1st WW trenches and the new Royal Saxon Way.

Welcome to the Summer Walking Festival programme of walks. The Walking Festival is an exciting event that includes walks for everyone from beginners to the more advanced walker. Please be prepared for the weather and dress appropriately – you will need waterproof clothing, comfy walking boots or shoes, sun cream, sun hat bottles of water and food (for the walks where this is indicated).

If you love walking in the great outdoors, socialising with loved ones, eating and drinking delicious produce and supporting local businesses, then this event is perfect for you! You will embark on a 7.5 mile walk that will include three stop offs, where you will enjoy a tasty course made with ingredients sourced from the local area. It will be the perfect opportunity to take in beautiful views across Ellesmere, whilst keeping active and supporting Shropshire’s food and drink producers. There’s no catch!

Welcome to the Suffolk Walking Festival, one of the largest and longest running (and we think one of the best!) walking festivals in the country. The festival takes place every May and celebrates Suffolk’s natural landscapes and built heritage with guided walks in every corner of the county. The festival is a great way to discover parts of Suffolk you perhaps never knew existed, learn about the county’s fascinating and ancient history, and make new friends whilst walking and talking! There is something for everyone, from short walks to long walks, family walks to history walks, even a night walk.

Walkfest celebrates the 70th anniversary of the North York Moors National Park with a series of walks following the coastal stretches of the Cleveland Way National Trail, giving you a chance to walk linear stretches of the trail (with transport provided). There will also be a special walk delving into the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Byland, a significant but largely forgotten battle at Sutton Bank.

The Annual South Downs Way Walk is an organised nine day walk along the full 100 mile length of the South Downs Way, one of England's finest and most popular national trails. During the past 43 years it has been enjoyed by hundreds of people from all over the world. It is, by tradition, a supported rather than a guided walk, with everyone free to walk at their own pace each day. However, a team of experienced leaders will walk the South Downs Way with you and you can rest assured that there will always be knowledgeable people nearby to help you with directions, first aid or just a friendly smile.

The North Wessex Downs Walking Festival celebrated the 50th Anniversary of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With 28 walks that took place across the length and breadth of the North Wessex Downs the festival was a celebration of the stunning landscapes, gorgeous scenery and top-class walking country that the AONB has to offer.

The city’s hugely popular, annual walking festival – Bristol Walk Fest is back! The month-long celebration of all things walking throughout our beautiful city will take place and we have a wealth of in-person walking related events and activities, self-guided walking routes and challenges, and much more for you throughout the national walking month of May.

This is the Stevenage Walking Festival, put together by members if Stevenage Leisure 50, North Herts Ramblers and Stevenage Wellbeing walks group, and with the support of Stevenage Borough Council. With a choice of walks, walkers can walk every day for a week, all locally on their doorstep. Stevenage has some fine walking areas, both within the boundaries of the Borough, and in the surrounding countryside.

Milton Keynes’ popular Walking Festival is back for a 12th year with a brand-new programme of over 20 walks for all ages, abilities and interests. The annual festival coincides with National Walking Month and features a diverse range of guided walks designed to help residents enjoy the city’s wealth of beautiful green spaces on foot.

The Waendel Walk aims to provide a pleasant recreational weekend for families and casual walkers whilst at the same time being a part of the international walking circuit. The Isle of Wight is a haven for hikers, walkers and wanderers alike, boasting miles of winding footpaths through beautiful countryside and along stunning heritage coastline, all part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
