Garstang Walking Festival provides the perfect way to explore the beautiful countryside around Garstang, Rural Wyre, the Forest of Bowland and the Fylde Plain.
Garstang Walking Festival takes place every year in springtime. You can take part in all sorts of guided walks from short wellbeing walks to riverside rambles, historic walks, dog friendly walks, Nordic walking and evening strolls – all led by the friendliest walk leaders who bring the history and nature of the area to life. There are also be walks that are suitable for trampers, all-terrain electric vehicles designed for people with differing abilities so that everyone can access the countryside.
During the festival you’ll get to take in beautiful areas in and around Garstang and nearby spots including Nicky Nook, Brock Valley, Winmarleigh, Abbeystead, the Forest of Bowland, the riverside and the coastline.
