RULES OF PARTICIPATION

Confirmation

After you have registered via the (internet) registration form, you will receive an email confirming your registration. In this e-mail you will find an overview of your registration, such as name, e-mail address and distances.  You will also find your password here, which you can use to collect your Start card (and other information) from one week prior to the event via  mijn.tochtomdenoord.nl . You can log in to mijn.tochtomdenoord.nl  by entering your e-mail address and the relevant password. If you have lost your password, you can use: Forgot your password? (below the blue login bar) request a new password.

Conditions of participation

• Participants agree to the use of their name and/or likeness in print, on photo, film, video, etc. for promotional purposes of the “Journey to the North Activities” without claiming compensation and without prior permission being requested.
• The “Trip for the North Activities” are walking performance tours without any competitive element.
• It is 'NOT' allowed to bring (pets) animals with the 'Tocht om de Noord-activities'  .
• Participants participate voluntarily, at their own risk and under their own responsibility in the 'Tocht om de Noord activities'.
• The organization of the Tour of the North cannot be held responsible for personally incurred costs if the event has to be canceled due to force majeure.
• If, due to force majeure, cancellations must be made at a late date, a partial refund of registration fees will be made.
• In case of cancellation due to force majeure, a new date will (possibly) be set.
• Instructions from the organisation, the police and other employees must be followed.
• The organization of the Tour of the North is in no way responsible or (financially) liable for accidents and/or illness of participants or loss of his/her belongings.
• The organization of the Tour around the North reserves the right to cancel the “Trip for the North activities” in whole or in part on the basis of extreme weather conditions or other calamities, whereby this is not reasonably different from the organization of the Tour. the North can be expected.
• If canceled up to 4 weeks prior to the event, the registration fee minus 5 euros (admin costs) will be refunded. In case of cancellation within 4 weeks prior to the event, no refund will be made, because costs (memories, train transport, treats) have already been incurred for your statement.
