The “Dätwyler Sports” team awaits your visit during these two days,
and will be happy to share with you his sound advice, and a few little "tricks" that will allow you to enjoy your hikes with even more pleasure and comfort.
The Villardou Massimo Prati,
amateur naturalist photographer, spent most of his childhood in nature in the forests of Villars. He began photography in the 90s with the aim of immortalizing snowboarding friends in Bretaye, then came the time of travel and finally, during the 2000s, digital photography. He will first show off his camera on the roadside of Swiss rallies and even a few rounds of the world championship, before falling in love in 2016 for the bearded vulture. From then on, he spent almost all his free time immortalizing it in the wild and documenting it. At first, wildlife photography was a way for him to get out of his comfort zone and learn to channel his energy.
Some 2,300 hours on the lookout later, he has changed his vision of life and is trying to pass it on to as many people as possible. His work allows him to exchange with biologists in order to report his observations. Involved in the safeguarding and reintroduction of the bearded vulture, the "RENAISSANCE" project was born, a year with the bearded vulture, an educational exhibition that takes the visitor to learn and understand through images accompanied by short texts and QR codes the life of this emblematic bird reintroduced into the Alps more than 30 years ago following its extermination. He also wants, through this exhibition, to pay tribute to his first fan, his companion, who is never far away, she who helps him with what is not his cup of tea and who believes in him. . Always eager for new images, he willingly crosses the Swiss borders to go to France, Italy and quite recently he has completely changed continent since he went to South Africa to meet the bearded vulture of the Drakensberg mountains. His future projects? He's got it in his head, don't hesitate to ask him.
He will also be a guide during the “In the land of the bearded vulture” hike scheduled for September 4.
Carole Reboul,
photographer of the photo exhibition in kind, will also be on site with some shots.
