Kiltwalks are mass participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and projects.
Kiltwalkers can raise funds for any charity of their choice and thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation, all funds raised will be topped up by 50%*.
In 6 years, 112,300 Kiltwalkers have raised £22.5 million and The Hunter Foundation has added £11.4 million, a total of £33.9 million for 3,000 Scottish charities.
*The Fundraising top up for this current year 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 is 50% of the funds raised by any individual participant subject to a maximum top-up of £5000 per walker or donor. This is a cumulative limit per participant for Events in the above period. Donations received directly from a charity or a corporate entity (including match funding) are not eligible for the top-up. All fundraising top ups are subject to deadlines and The Charity’s approval.
