Streek Tweedaagse Nijmegen

The “Streek 2Daagse Nijmegen” foundation was founded on March 30, 2010 with the aim of organizing a two-day walking event to replace the Nimwamars that ceased to exist after the 50th tour . By establishing the new foundation, a walking tour with a long tradition for Nijmegen has been preserved.

The walking event did get a new name, namely “Streek 2 Daagse Nijmegen”.

FESTIVAL PROGRAM

Streek Tweedaagse Nijmegen

The Streek2Daagse starts in

On Saturday, the route to Wijchen-Heumen is 50% paved, so a good training for the Nijmegen 4Daagse.

On Sunday, the route to Groesbeek-Mook is largely unpaved with forests, hills and beautiful views.

The entire route is indicated by yellow signs with black arrows, as well as junction signs.

In addition, you will receive a route description at the start desk, which contains numbers that correspond to the numbers on the arrows. This way you can always see where you are.

If you have any questions during the walk, have walked wrong, or are dealing with an injury, you can contact the march leader. You will find the telephone number on the route description.

There is a first aid post at one of the rest areas and mobile, cycling first aiders are on the trail to see if a helping hand is needed.

In the event of an emergency, you should of course call 1 1 2 first.

Traffic controllers are present on Scheidingsweg (one of the busiest roads in Nijmegen).
