100% free, the Rando des 3 châteaux is one of the major unmissable events in Seine-et-Marne.
Organized by the Department of Seine-et-Marne with its Seine-et-Marne attractiveness agency (SMA) and the coderando 77 (FFRandonnée), this event offers routes adapted to the desires, age and level of each.
On the program, 6 hiking trails only on foot:
Departing from the medieval castle of Blandy-les-Tours with a walk in the park of the Château d'Aunoy, enjoy a pleasant bucolic and historical walk to discover the Seine-et-Marnais heritage! Free entertainment is organized at the Château d'Aunoy and a snack will be offered to children.
During this hike from the capital of Seine-et-Marne, you will have the opportunity to cross the park and gardens of the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte and end your walk at the Château de Blandy -towers.

This is the iconic route of the Rando des 3 châteaux! Indeed, it is the only one that connects the castles of Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte and Blandy-les-Tours. An unforgettable journey that will amaze you.
Notice to walkers! This challenging route is not open to casual hikers. Only sportsmen or seasoned people are invited to do this hike.
Departing from Saint-Méry, enjoy a more dynamic walk than hiking! Accessible to all, this sporting and friendly practice is open to young people and seniors, whatever their physical condition.

All these routes have in common the discovery of nature and the Seine-et-Marne heritage for the greatest pleasure of young and old! Much more than a hike, this event is punctuated by numerous activities.
Fanfare, shows, tasting and sale of local products, exhibition, tree climbing, games and costumes for children or even slackline... Everything is there to enjoy an exceptional moment with family, colleagues or friends!
How to register and how much does it cost?
The hike is free and there is no registration!
Return shuttle between Melun station and La Chapelle-Gauthier :
sale of tickets at Melun station (5€ round trip)
setting up shuttles at Melun station in the morning between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. (departure from the station towards La Chapelle-Gauthier).
between 2 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., departure from La Chapelle-Gauthier towards Melun station.
departure as soon as the buses are full;
Return shuttle to Fontainebleau :
sale of tickets at the start of the route in Fontainebleau then in Blandy-les-Tours (fairgrounds, at the shuttle boarding area);
price: €5;
first return shuttle at 2 p.m. then shuttle every 30 minutes until no one is left to bring back (drop off at the Faisanderie).
Return shuttle to Melun :
sale of tickets at Blandy-les-Tours (fairgrounds, at the shuttle boarding area);
price: €3;
first shuttle at 1.30 p.m. with drop-off at the departure car parks and at Melun station;
rotations every 15 to 20 min.
Free car parks will be found near the departure and arrival points. The routes will be signposted nearby.
The hike is on foot and for this edition there are no bicycle circuits.
The paths are not passable with classic strollers, plan for all-terrain tires.
Dogs are prohibited inside the castles and in the shuttles except guide dogs for the blind.
If you want to hike with your 4-legged friend, you must follow these safety instructions for the smooth running of the hike:
1st category dogs (attack) are prohibited.
2nd category dogs ( guard, defence) must be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle.
It is not preferable, the gaits are different.
No, it is mandatory to respect these slots, if you leave too early the supplies will not be ready. If you leave too late, the routes will be unmarked.
Signage will be put in place to show you the different paths to take. Many volunteers, regulars of the Rando des 3 châteaux, will be able to guide you throughout your journey, and a queue clamp will close the march.
42 km: between 8 and 9 hours of walking,
28 km: between 5 and 6 hours.
21 km: between 4 and 5 hours,
14 km: between 3 and 4 hours,
7 km: between 2 and 3 hours,
14 km in Nordic walking: about 2 hours.
