After the successful premiere last year, the "Neumarkt Hiking Days" will take place again this year. Enjoy Neumarkt with all your senses accompanied by experienced hiking guides from the Neumarkt Alpine Club!
It starts on the 8th. May with a 20-kilometer tour to the striking Dillberg with a magnificent view and back again on the romantic Ludwigskanal.
On May 22nd, the historic waterway is also part of the hike, which leads in the direction of Greißelbach and Winnberg.
On June 19th, the route goes from Sulzbürg to Neumarkt on the Jewish path, before the Jewish cemetery is visited.
On August 12th, the program offers a "magical full moon hike" to a special place of power, where the energy of summer is celebrated with an incense ceremony.
On September 11th, hikers set out on a herbal hike along the 4-Elements-Weg.
Finally, on October 8th, the last hike of the year takes us along dream paths up to the Deininger Kreuzberg. which leads to Geißelbach and Winnberg.
The participation fee is €8.00 for adults and €6.00 for children and students. This does not include costs for public transport and food (except for the Judenweg).
For all hikes, a prior binding registration at the tourist office of the city of Neumarkt is required at least two days in advance, personally at the tourist information or at www.tourismus-neumarkt.de/wandertage/.
The minimum number of participants for all hikes is 5 people, the maximum number of participants is 20 people (except for the Jewish path).
Appropriate weatherproof hiking clothing, sturdy shoes (trekking or hiking boots), sufficient food and drink, and sun protection/insect repellent are required for all hikes.
