Loreley Trail

You know the summer fairy tale? Then get to know (also) the autumn fairy tale!

The 60 km "International Loreley Trail" on October 29, 2022 offers you pure enjoyment with top sporting performance .
Despite the low entry fee of €26.00 (including bus transfer), this trail offers everything a long-distance heart could wish for.

The meeting point for the participants is in the early morning of October 29, 2022 in the August-Horch-Halle, Uhlenweg 1 in 56333 Winningen an der Mosel. Winningen is the birthplace of the car manufacturer August Horch and probably one of the most beautiful wine villages in Germany.

Starting at 5 a.m., the starting documents will be handed out in the August-Horch-Halle.

After breakfast at 6 a.m. there will be a bus transfer to the start in front of the Loreley Visitor Center ( https://www.loreley-besucherzentrum.de/home/ ).

The start of the 60 km “Int. Loreley Trails” will take place at 7 a.m.

The route runs over the Rheinsteig, the Saar-Hunsrück Steig and the Moselsteig as well as some dream paths.
On the way, heights are climbed and unforgettable impressions are gained.
You experience the Ehrbachklamm and conquer medieval castles.
The Rhine and Moselle will stand by your side.
You get an impression of the laborious work of the winemaker in the vineyard.
Experience one of the most beautiful landscapes on earth, which has been named "World Heritage Cultural Landscape Upper Middle Rhine Valley".
You will cross the Rhine on the way with a Rhine ferry.
There are several aid stations along the route. Here you can strengthen yourself and relax a little before you continue.

The finish line closes at 8 p.m. in the August-Horch-Halle.

There you will be presented with a medal and certificate as well as a finisher ribbon .

Enjoy the available showers after your best athletic performance.

You can end the day comfortably in an entertaining atmosphere with inexpensive food and drinks .
