Every year, at the end of April, when the Swedish countryside is at its very finest, the associations Hestra IF och IK Ymer invite the world´s walkers to follow in the footsteps of the great Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus. Linnémarschen is a two-day walk passing through the Rya Åsar Nature Reserve visited by Linnaeus in the year 1746.
The varied natural features of the landscape with its many fine, heritage sites along the routes characterise this walking event. The route through Borås Zoo, the city centre and a visit to one of the highest points of Borås are just some of the unique experiences to be enjoyed on this walk. With routes starting from the 3 km accessibility route, 7 km Adventure Walk, all the way up to the 42 km Marathon Walk and 57 km two-days walk, this event has something for walkers of all ages.

BT Family adventure for everyone, young and old who wants to experience an exciting day in the woods.
Beautiful and varied course in the nature reserve Rya Åsar.
Date: Saturday, April 24 or Sunday, April 25, 2021.
BT Familjeäventyr is an exciting forest walk for the whole family with start and finish from Borås Arena and with a number of adventure stations. The stations are mainly aimed at children between about 5 - 10 years.
Choose Saturday or Sunday. The start is between 09.00 - 12.00 and when registering, you choose which minute you want to start. Expect a hiking time of about 3-5 hours. No timekeeping.
Many families with children go with a pram or sulky, which goes really well. After about 1.5 km, the track goes along a small path. There is an alternative pram route that connects first at a liquid station after 2 km and then at an activity station after 2.5 km.
CONTEST
In connection with the start, each group receives a Hittaut map where you by registering the so-called checkpoints you pass along the road participate in a raffle of nice prizes.

BEGINNING
The start is family / group about 2 groups per minute. The reason for this is that there will be no queues at the adventure stations in the forest.
You choose the start time for the family in connection with registration. The clock at the start shows Go-forward time for your particular family / group. This means that you do not have to stand in line but can visit the other activities inside Borås Arena.
GOAL
Finish inside Borås Arena. All children who pass BT's Family Adventure receive a medal.
ARENATORGET
After the finish, you can catch up on Arenatorget, where there is serving and sale of products.
TOILETS & COFFEE
Toilets are available inside Borås Arena and at Ramshulan after 3.5 km of hiking.
There are two liquid & coffee stations along BT's Family Adventure. Feel free to bring your own coffee as both children and adults sometimes need extra refills.

The walk follows the path of Marathon Walk until you reach an open area close to the shoreline of the lake Pickesjön. You cook your dinner, enjoy nature and spend your night in tents (organizers tents or your own). Your walk the first day is 32 km.
After breakfast with a lake view, your walk starts with a 6 km connecting path including Lake Ramnasjön before connecting to Sunday´s course at the nature reserve Rya Åsar. Sunday’s walk is measuring 25 km.
Organizer provides material transport, breakfast sunday morning, tents, drinking water, toilet, cooking faacilities and staff watching during night. We also sell food parcels for dinner. You only bring your sleeping bag and personal equipment for an adventure in the woods around Borås.
The number of participants is limited to 100 people. Late registration is not possible.

BT Familjeäventyr är en spännande skogsvandring för hela familjen med start och mål från Borås Arena och med ett antal äventyrsstationer. Stationerna vänder sig framförallt till barn mellan ca 5 – 10 år.
Välj lördag eller söndag. Starten är mellan kl 09.00 – 12.00 och vid anmälan väljer du vilken minut ni vill starta. Räkna med en vandringstid på ca 3-5 timmar. Ingen tidtagning.
Många barnfamiljer går med barnvagn eller sulky, vilket går alldeles utmärkt. Efter ca 1,5 km går banan utmed en liten stig. Där finns det en alternativ barnvagnsrutt som ansluter först vid en vätskestation efter 2 km och därefter vid en aktivitetsstation efter 2,5 km.

Efteranmälan på plats på Borås Arena i samband med evenemanget kan ske mot en förhöjd avgift. Familjepaket (max 2 vuxna+barn) 450 kr, enstaka deltagare (vuxna/barn) 240 kr/200 kr, barn födda 2013 eller senare går gratis.
Starten sker familjevis/gruppvis ca 2 grupper per minut. Anledningen till detta är att det inte ska bli kö vid äventyrsstationerna i skogen.
Du väljer själv starttid för familjen i samband med anmälan. Klockan vid starten visar Gå-fram-tid för just din familj/grupp. Det innebär att du slipper stå i kö utan kan besöka de andra aktiviteterna inne på Borås Arena.
Det finns två vätske- & fikastationer utmed BTs Familjeäventyr. Ta gärna med lite egen fika då både barn och vuxna ibland behöver extra påfyllning.
