An international two-day hiking trip in Lithuania, which takes place every year in Jurbarka on the first weekend of August. This is the main competitive hike in Lithuania, out of the 10 currently available competitive hikes united by the Hiking Association. During the hike, participants can choose to cover any of the four classical distances offered on each day of the event, according to their personal ability: 10, 20. 30 or 40 Km.
The hike is intended for all lovers of foreign and Lithuanian active leisure time. The age of the participants is not limited. During the hike, participants have the opportunity not only to enjoy active leisure time, but at the same time to chat, get to know each other and have fun in the evening programs of the Lithuanian Hiking Festival. Every year, the participants of the march are delighted by the performances of folk theater and art lovers, as well as live concerts.

ROUTES:
Digital .gpx format sent with instructions to participant by e-mail after registration. Also printed maps. Classical route marking in downtown Kaunas will be limited.

PARTICIPANT’S START FEE:
2×30 km – 20 € adult
2×20 km – 16 € adult
2×10 km – 10 € adult
1×30 km – 10 € adult
1×20 km – 8 € adult
1×10 km – 5 € adult
3 €/ 6 € – one/two days, any route, children under 12 (participants younger than 16 years old must be accompanied by their parents, carers, heads of groups).
+ 2 € – late registration fee for all registrations received after 31 st July, 2022. Also registering on any march day.
P.S. March medal is not included into starting fees. March medals might be made by the order after the march, if required minimum quantity will be reached.

Note: During the final registration, the heads of the groups are requested to present the printed final list of the group members.
CONTROL:
Control and rest points on the march route will be marked ‘CONTROL’. Water will be available at these posts.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MARCH PARTICIPANTS:
– To observe the established marching rules;
– When walking on the roads, participants must observe traffic safety rules, pedestrians’ duties;
– To be careful with fire;
– To take care of personal belongings and health;
– In case of withdrawal from the march, the participant must inform the head of the group or organizational committee of the march;
– In case of injury or felling unwell, the participants must contact the doctors;
– Soldiers are requested to wear neat military uniform according to the uniform wear rules. Civilians must wear neat leisure apparel;
– During the march, the march organizers reserve the right to establish different requirements for the participants, which they must to observe during the march.
PROHIBITIONS:
During the march, it is prohibited:
– To use any means of transport or to run;
– To spread political propaganda;
– To breach public order;
– To breach/disregard the road safety rules, pedestrians’ duty;
– To litter on the march route, at the control/rest points;
– To breach the Road traffic rules.
FINANCES:
The march is financed from the funds of the march participants and march sponsors, voluntary activities of the march partners and volunteers. March participants cover the march organisation expenses.
FINAL PROVISIONS:
1. Marchers must make themselves familiar with the marching rules and observe them during the registration and the march;
2. Marching organizers bear no responsibility for marchers’ personal belongings, health;
3. The march rules are approved, amended, supplemented exclusively by the march organizers.
