Jogja International Heritage Walk (JIHW) is an international walking event held by Jogja Walking Association as the organizing committee, which concept covers not only health, but also green environment, education and communication and tourism and economy through a thousand tree planting on Karang Tengah, Bantul slope.
Encouraging students’ participation on walking activities with international walkers and empowering local people as well as the small and medium enterprises in Prambanan and Imogiri area as the venue of the event.
This medal is a sincere present from JIHW chairman, HRH Mangkubumi, awarded for international participants who complete two days walking, going through the 20 km route for each day. For those who are 70 years old and above, 10km will be counted.
It is personally awarded by HRH Mangkubumi at Farewell Party, held on Sunday evening after the second day walk.

By submitting the registration form, the participants state
that they are able to complete the walking event as required:

The registration fee is non-refundable. It will be forfeited if
the participants, for any reasons, cannot complete the Virtual
Walk by JIHW 2021.

If the participants fail to send the screenshot of the walking
record before 28 November 2021 00.00 AM, then the partici-
pants are considered resigned from the event, thus they are
not eligible to the medal and certificate.

The participants are allowed to choose any application to
record their walking route. The most commonly used appli-
cations are Strava and Google Fit. Please kindly note: the
screenshots that will be uploaded must include participants’
name (as written in the registration form), walking route and
date in one picture.
Please refer to the example on “screenshot screening guide-
lines”.

The link to upload the screenshots will be available on the
website from 21 until 28 November 2021.

The participants could access the confirmation list starting
from 30 November – 5 December 2021 in the website.

The committee will send the virtual medal on 6 December 2021.
The committee will send the shipping confirmation and tracking
code by email. Estimate shipping time :
Domestic 3-4 business days.
International 7 – 10 business days.
Virtual Walk by JIHW 2021 bears no responsibility for the damage
caused by the delivery service or the negligence during delivery.
Q : I am an international participant, but the registration form is in Indonesian. Where could I find the registration form for international participant?
A : Please kindly change the language setting on the website from “Bahasa ndonesia” to “English”, then go to “registration -> international”
Q : Does the price include the shipping fee to my country?
A : No, the price is for registration only. There will be additional fee for shipping cost.
Q : Can I register more than one person?
A : Yes, you can. After you fill your registration form, click “next” then “add more person”.
Q : Where could I buy the merchandise T-shirt of virtual walk by JIHW 2021 ?
A : This year, the committee doesn’t sell or provide shirt for the participants.
Q : How do I know that I am eligible to get the virtual walk medal?
A : Those who are eligible to get the medals are the participants who successfully register, settle the payment, confirm the walking route by uploading the screen shot through provided link, and get confirmation email from the committee.
