Event space
At the age of 21, Virgile Woisard embarked on a crossing of the Americas entirely on foot, planning to travel 27,000 km in two and a half years, from Ushuaia to the Arctic Ocean.
Debuting in September 2017, it carves its way north through some of the wildest landscapes on Earth. By walking 30 km a day in autonomy, he managed to cover the longest mountain range in the world from end to end, then cross Central America by running, to finally find the mountains in the heart of the United States. He will have to meet many challenges on this long journey, but he will also discover many natural and human treasures, and this inner journey will become the way to send a strong message for the protection of the environment.
