The Vall Fosca, north of the Pallars Jussà, illuminates us with its thirty lakes and imposing peaks of almost 3,000 meters. It is also one of the gateways to the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, which is easily accessible by cable car. Participants will get in touch with the locals and offer a variety of activities for families. To the traditional dinner under the stars and the subsequent night walk is added a historic meeting with a very special engineer and a vermouth-closing of brotherhood.

After more than 140 years, the Swiss engineer Albert Keller returns to the Vall Fosca to accompany you through what were his domains: Estany Gento, Colomina and the Central de Capdella. We will go up with the cable car and from there we will visit the area of Estany Gento, Colomina, and in the afternoon we will visit the Capdella Hydroelectric Museum. All by Albert Keller.

We will meet in the village of Capdella from where we will go to the Cabana del Pastor de Filià. Throughout this day we will try to acquire, with the realization of different workshops, some basic knowledge to be able to survive in emergency conditions in wooded environments, while we have fun learning new skills. We will eat what everyone has brought, sausage, toast… things we can cook on the fire we will make. Arrival time approx. 6:30 p.m.

We will go up the old path from Capdella to the Cabana del Pastor de Filià where we will meet a farmer with his dog and his herd of cows. He will tell us what his job is like and how it has evolved over time, what kind of cattle there were before in the mountains and we will see how he works with his shepherd dog. We will return by the same path to Capdella.

From there, we will take the descent path that follows the pipes that carry the water to the Capdella power station. We will deviate along the path of the fox hole to return to Capdella. Throughout the itinerary we will find elements that will reveal the hydroelectric history of the National Park in the Vall Fosca.

Next to the river Flamisell, at the height of the Pobleta de Bellveí, we will hold a pottery workshop with a local artisan.
The starting point will be in Plaça de la Pobleta from where we will walk to the place where we will do the workshop.
We will make a brief introduction to the main modeling techniques. We will choose one in particular, make a sketch and once we have our design ready, we will prepare the clay and the engalbes so that we can do it.
