Andorra Walking Festival

This circular sortie in the gates from the town of Soldeu (1,830 m.) ends at Pas de les Vaques (2,573 meters), to return to Soldeu in Baixada cap.
The initial part runs through the forest of l'Obaga d'Incles, which we will cross in the forest to arrive at the Siscaró lake. This is a subalpine terrain where some protected species lives, such as the forest gall. Gaudirem in this spectacular tram you see over the Vall d'Incles.
From the lake, already in the alpine estate, we will climb a pending fort to arrive at Pas de les Vaques. Leaving this excellent viewpoint and with a comfortable, but long descent, we will arrive at the village of Soldeu.

At the end of the Siscaró lake, the recorregut coincides in the totality of the forest with the alt level.
From the lake we will begin the final descent to the bottom of the Vall d'Incles, first passing through the Siscaró refuge and finally following a spectacular corriol, with various salts of the water, on the river coast.
Located at the bottom of the valley, the camí de l'Obac, a 3-kilometer gairebé pla road, allows you to cross this beautiful road.
We will end the day with a short finn bid in the town of Soldeu.

We will go from Soldeu along a path that passes through the forest of l'Obaga d'Incles i, rising some 200 meters of unevenness, we will arrive at Planell Gran, a place traditionally used for the concentration of beasts. From here, there is always a forest of black and white pines, an easy descent to the ends of the Vall d'Incles.
From the most guides we will visit the beautiful and spectacular valley, to turn towards Soldeu pel camí de l'Obac.

What will we find on this excursion?
We will discover the Vall del Madriu, one of the most interesting valleys in the country. Since 2004, the Vall del Madriu-Perafita-Claror entered the UNESCO World Heritage List, in the category of cultural landscape. The symbiosis created by the human workforce of generations and generations to the industry, agriculture, steel industry and hydroelectric exploitation, together with the existing rich natural heritage, the faculties of entering the only 88 UNESCO zones of the World. It is approximately 9% of the Andorran territory and both territories are 4 of the 7 Andorran communities.
The three levels will discover and travel, in one way or another, the valley and/or the six zones of influence, all gaudint-la.
The valley, of clearly glacial origin, counted many of the states that can be found in the Pyrenees, starting with the mountain states at 1000 meters and ending with the alpine states at the top of the Portelleta at 2905 meters, without oblivion mountain lakes with the Blau or the from the Nou to Perafita.

This is sens dubte, the most demanding assortment of the AWF. Malgrat no fer cap cim, we will need a good physical shape to finish the journey. The ground will be cobbled in a lot of the lasting forest. We will find the GR-7 and the GR-11 in several parts of the recorregut, here with the GRP. Gaudirem from the Perafita refuge, you dress them from Coll de la Maiana and the descent to Estall Serrer, on which we can see vestiges of the old fargues. Arriving at the main valley of Madriu, and the tornada has begun, we will pass through the Fontverd refuge, we will push the Jovell hill and from the bottom we will finish the excursion to l'Estany d'Engolasters.

This assortment is one of the classic hiking routes of Andorra. Ens will allow you to cross the Vall del Madriu along its cobbled paths ending in the gaudir of the pasture meadows, next to the Fontverd refuge to have a picnic. The tornada will go through the camí del Solà, where we will be surprised by the efforts of generations and generations to saturate and prepare the transit of the bestiar to the tarters that it creates, ending at Coll Jovell. From Coll Jovell we will go down to the lake of Engolasters, passing by the path to the balcony over Andorra la Vella and Escaldes and its panoramic viewpoint on a rock.

We will start this selection in reverse of the high and low levels. We will start and finish at l'Estany d'Engolasters. First we will go up the GR-11 to the Coll Jovell with gaudirem from the panoramic viewpoint over the capital, and to the mateix Coll Jovell from a viewpoint over the Vall del Madriu with spectacular views over the forests.
From the mateix Coll Jovell we will go down an ombrívolo path that runs through a magnificent forest of avets i pins, full of molses and silence, to arrive at the Font de la Closa, molt by Sant Miquel d'Engolasters. At this point, we will cross the road to join some of the edges of the mountains, the path that ens lasts for another cop to the Engolasters lake. Arriving at this point, we will donate the return to see him in the totality and finish the lot.

Discover the Vall de Sorteny Natural Park

What will we find on this excursion?
This park was created in 1999 to protect the uniqueness and integrity of the natural values of the village.
We can find 750 representative plant species of the flora of the Pyrenees, 60 of which are certified endemic. In its botanical garden we see a great variety of plants for medicinal use.
In this assortment, our guides will discover the traditional us of the plants, the pastoral life in the high mountains, along with the influence of human beings on nature. Basically they will help to interpret the landscape so well preserved that the park presents.

This sortida is one of the most spectacular traveses that we can do in Andorra.
The farem began for the Vall de Ransol, following the river dels Meners. We will pass through three ponds to arrive at the Meners pass. Prop de la colada veurem vestigis d'un ofici de cabdal imporància para l'economía del país during the XVII, XVIII and early XIX centuries: mining exploitation. From the pass we will access the Pic de la Serrera, 2,913 meters high, one of the highest AWF 2,020 alçades in the country.
The descent will be carried out entirely by the Parc Natural de la Vall de Sorteny i, passing through the refuge and the botanical garden, we will finally arrive at the entrance (in our sortida cas) of the Park.

The tour starts at the information booth of the park. A spectacular passatge pel riu de Sorteny ens porta fins to the botanical garden. The fortress bid by the black-pine forest ens portarà fins l'estany de l'Estanyó at 2,350 meters. It is located in an incomparable marc, saved and lonely at once. It will be the ideal place to rest the forces consumed by the bid.
From the bottom we will pass through the guarded shelter to finally end up at the entrance to the park.

The initial part of the assortment coincides with level B ending at the botanical garden. From this point we will walk along the fons de la vall, to touch the river, in order to arrive at the guardat de Sorteny refuge. From there, and after a brief bid, we will arrive at the planell del Quer. Wide-spread plain that connects the valleys of Sorteny i Rialb. A lowered fort will carry the ends of the broad Vall de Rialb, a perfect example of a valley of glacial origin. Ja situats at the bottom of the valley, a pleasant passejada ens situarà de nou al punt d'inici.

Discover the Vall del Riu

What will we find on this excursion?
The three levels of this excursion will carry out the respective routes in the form of a traverse, at the same time that both the start and end points of the excursion will be joint. The fact that she accessed this vall s'hagi de fer exclusively to peu, allowed her to be a great stranger to the country. Vall d'origen glacial, with gairebé all the Andorrans and, permanently while walking, with spectacular views. Gaudirem of great biological diversity, from the forests of the initial subalpine estate to the prats alpins that we found from the refuge.
To the capçalera of the valley, the sortida has finished, we will find the abandoned town of l'Armiana, vestige of life to the mountains in past times. We will end the day at the Romanesque church of San Joan de Caselles, one of the most beautiful Andorran Romanesque.

At this level we will stand the maximum height of the AWF 2,020, the pic de l'Estanyó, with 2,915 meters of height. Previously, we have passed through the refuge of the Vall del Riu and passed through different ponds, we will arrive at the Great Lake of the Vall del Riu, spectacular both for its situation with its size. After a fort bid for a lunch box, we will arrive at the Pic de l'Estanyó, one of the 7 Andorran peaks that exceed 2,900 meters, and the only allunyat on the border line.

After a very long descent, passing through the abandoned town of l'Armiana, we will finish the day at the Romanesque church of Sant Joan de Caselles.

The initial part of the sortida is identical to the levels alt i mitjà. To arrive at the refuge of the Valira del Riu we will pass through the woods of the subalpí estate, with gaudirem of spectacular views of the Valira d'Orient valley and the Grandvalira ski resort.

In the descent, we will encourage you to look for the river of the valley of the Riu located at the bottom of the valley, we will create the bridge and follow the path that will lead to the end of the abandoned town of l'Armiana, vestige of the ancient ways of life to the mountain

Sortint del poble a lowered fortress ens will carry the ends to Canillo, where we will end the excursion to the beautiful Romanesque church of Sant Joan de Caselles.

Discover the Casamanya

What will we find on this excursion?
The AWF 2.020 is mourà pel geographic center of the country. The Coll d'Ordino road has traditionally served to link the two main valleys of Andorra, the Valira del Nord and the Valira d'Orient. All the excursions of Avui will begin and end in this area.
The Roc del Quer viewpoint is a recently built platform, 20 meters long, 12 of which are suspended on the buit, with a vertical drop of some 500 meters. The spectacular forest has become a must visit in the country.
The Casamanya peak, with 2,752 metres, is a well-conegut place for all Andorrans.
Apart from being considered the geographic center of the country, it is possible, the mountain with more ascents to cap de l'any. Ja continued walking on skis.

We will start the tour with a visit to the Roc del Quer viewpoint. Subsequently, we will end up in the Vall de Montaup, of glacial origin, to arrive at the Coll d'Arenes. From here and for a bid to these a technical mica, we will arrive at the Casamanyes. The massís is formatted by three pics, Casamanya Nord, Pic del Mig and Casamanya Sud.
This area stands out for being the only space in Andorra with calcari origin, something that gives the land a whitish and schist color that differentiates it from the mountains that surround it.
A quick descent will bring you to the coll d'Ordino and from there by a path, you will finish the excursion to the planells de Mereig.

We will start the tour with a visit to the Roc del Quer viewpoint. Later, passing through the Camí dels Cóms, we will arrive at Coll d'Ordino, where one of the most classic ascents of Andorra begins, the CASAMANYA pic from Coll d'Ordino. Apart from being the geographic center of the Principality, this cim ens offers a panoramic view of 360º degrees.
A quick descent to the itinerary mateix that we have used to bid on will carry the ends of the planes of Mereig, the final point of the excursion to Avui.

As in the other levels we will start the day with the visit to the Roc del Quer viewpoint. Tot seguit, from the coll d'Ordino agafarem the interparroquial path of Tomb de les Neres. This route has the particularity that passes through four of the parishes that have the Principality.
The three hours that the route lasts, we will always gairebé dins of the woods and maintain the alçada between 1,900 and 2,000 meters, which makes this assortment still very pleasant and easy to do.
The initial forest pertains to Canillo, but later passes through the Encamp lands, both excellent lents you visit the Engolasters lake and the Camí de les Pardines. It should be noted that the tour to the village of Sortida runs through a forest of the parish of Ordino with trees that arrive at 24 meters from the Alçada.

Discover the Circ de Pessons

What will we find on this excursion?
The Pessons circus is an obligatory visit when hiking in the Andorran mountains. It is the largest granite glacier circus in the Principality and one of the largest in the Pyrenees. Set peaks between 2,500 and 2,800 meters high form a mountainous semi-circle inside which there are 20 lakes, (a quarter of the total lakes in Andorra), the lowest of which is the lake at 2,300 meters. The start of the three levels of the day is located in the parking lot of the Grau Roig ski station, 2,100 meters from the street. The pic of Montmalús is a classic of the Andorran mountains, both in summer on peu, and in winter with skis. An easy ascent together with some spectacular views from the top, which was followed by a well-visited mountain.
A cop al pic will follow the carena i, passing by a pair of secondary cims, assolirem the pic de Pessons, which gives name to the glacial circle that we traversed during the descent in the seva totalitat. This is the largest lake concentration in the Country, as we commented at the beginning of the explanation.

The pic of Montmalús is a classic of the Andorran mountains, both in summer on peu, and in winter with skis. An easy ascent, with some 650 meters of positive slope, will carry one of the most spectacularly dressed peaks in the Principality. With the help of the guides we can arrive to see more than 15 llacs, there with different mountains that correspond to both Andorra and the French department of l'Ariège and Cerdanya, since they are in frontier terrain. Once the descent is over, we will arrive at the Primer de Pessons lake, and all the routes of this excursion will coincide.

From the parking lot of the Grau Roig ski resort we have to climb 200 meters of unevenness to arrive at the Primer de Pessons lake. Here we initially start the long trail GR7, which crosses the Pessons glacier circle on its central eix. He descends to the lakes of La Solana, where we will have the opportunity to visit a total of 6 or 7 lakes in the total journey. As we have said before, in this excursion we gaudirem of a spectacular landscape of high mountains.
