BASIC INFORMATION

Alcanena Walking Festival

What is and where is the Meeting Point?

The meeting place depends on the activity in which the participant has signed up, with most activities starting at the Meeting Point (39°27'44.79"N, 8°42'41.80"W).

The Meeting Point is the epicenter of the Alcanena Walking Festival. It is the place of concentration of the participants. This is where the Secretariat is located. This is where the food and drinks are. That's where the local exhibitors and vendors are. It is from there that other activities such as Rappelling in the Clock Tower, Traditional Games, Petanque and Pedi Paper take place.

However, participants must consult each of the activities where they are registered to be sure of the place where they will be held.

Eat & sleep

At the Meeting Point you can eat a Caldo Verde and a Bifana, among other options, if you wish. However, participants have a set of options in the restaurant that they can book. Find these options listed by increasing distance to the Festival's epicenter by clicking below.
